The Rsenal race Team was started in 2009. It was comprised of various riders and skill sets, from a pro desert rider to a road racer to a motocross rider. It was also the first year the team participated in an offroad racing series as a team. We added support personnel for driving and managing the race schedule as well as the other aspects of racing like computer management, GPS and other tasks. The team blended as well as expected for a first year team. Lots of energy and lots of ideas. But with placing 2nd overall for the season championship offroad racing series, we were off to a strong start.
Our main goal was to participate in the Baja 1000 in Mexico in November 2009. We trained as a team and individually to attend this once a year event. The team was able to pull off a 6th place position and place. Not many even finish, with 49% of the entrees dropping out due to injury or equipment failure the team did very well.
For 2010, Rsenal Racing has grown from last year. With the 2009 members aboard and with 4 new riders, the team is stronger and more adapted to the offroad racing environment. We are stronger and strive to win and place at each event we race. This hard work is only to pay off when Team Rsenal Racing arrives once again in Ensanada Mexico to Race the 2010 baja 1000.
